Building on More Than 1,000 ScleroSafe® Procedures and Established Clinical Experience in Poland
VANCOUVER, BC, Nov. 4, 2026 /CNW/ -- VVT Med Inc. (TSXV: VVTM) ("VVT Med" or the "Company"), a developer of minimally invasive, non-thermal, non-tumescent ("NT-NT") solutions for venous disease, today announced a five-year exclusive definitive distribution agreement (the "Agreement") with Calment Medical Sp. z o.o. ("Calment Medical") for the commercialization of ScleroSafe® in Poland, commencing Oct. 15th 2026. The Agreement includes annual purchase targets representing approximately CAD $1.4 million in aggregate potential purchases over the contractual period, based on the agreed unit pricing and an indicative exchange rate. These targets are subject to the terms of the Agreement and do not constitute guaranteed revenue.
The Agreement appoints Calment Medical as VVT Med's exclusive distributor and importer of ScleroSafe® in Poland and provides a framework for continued commercialization, physician training, and market development. The five-year term is subject to earlier termination in accordance with the Agreement. Actual purchases and revenue will depend on the distributor's performance and other applicable conditions.
The new partnership marks the next phase of VVT Med's commercial activities in Poland, where the Company has already established a meaningful clinical presence. Through the efforts of its previous distribution partner, more than 1,000 ScleroSafe® procedures have been performed in the country to date, alongside the development of a substantial body of clinical experience and supporting evidence.
VVT Med recognizes the important contribution of its previous distributor in establishing the technology in the Polish market, supporting physician adoption, and advancing clinical experience. The transition to Calment Medical is intended to build on this established foundation and support the next stage of commercial development.
"Poland is an important market for VVT Med, with a strong foundation of clinical experience and physician familiarity with ScleroSafe," said Erez Tetro, Chief Executive Officer of VVT Med. "We are grateful to our previous distribution partner for its significant contribution to establishing our technology in the market. With Calment Medical, we look forward to building on this foundation, supporting existing physician relationships, and advancing our commercial activities in Poland."
The agreement forms part of VVT Med's broader European commercialization strategy, which focuses on developing sustainable distribution partnerships, supporting physician adoption, and expanding access to its minimally invasive NT-NT technology across established and emerging markets.
