CMRRA to continue operating with current reproduction rights services

TORONTO, Sept. 1, 2026 /CNW/ -- SOCAN today announced it has completed the acquisition of the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA) from SoundExchange. The transaction, first announced on July 29, 2026, has officially closed following the satisfaction of all customary closing conditions.
