BURLINGTON, ON, April 2, 2026 /CNW/ - IKEA Canada to Host Grand Opening Event for new IKEA Kelowna Plan and order point on Wednesday, April 8, 2026

• Plan and order points are one of the many ways IKEA Canada is making affordable home furnishings and services more convenient and accessible by delivering a seamless retail experience wherever, whenever, and however customers choose to shop with the brand.

• These service-based locations help to reduce the distances that customers must travel to visit an IKEA location, which has affordability, accessibility, and sustainability benefits.

• Located in the Central Park Power Centre at 1500 Banks Road, Unit 103, IKEA Canada is excited to bring this elevated planning experience to its Kelowna neighbours.
   
• The IKEA Kelowna Plan and order point will offer customers one-on-one planning services with IKEA experts to design and purchase home furnishing solutions for any room in the home such as kitchen renovations or bedroom storage systems. Once orders have been placed, they can be delivered to their homes or collected from the Pick-up location at the Plan and order point.

• Customers are now able to pre-book appointments for a full suite of planning services for April 8 and beyond.

• For those looking to instantly refresh their spaces, visitors to the Kelowna Plan and order point will be able to shop a limited selection of products from the IKEA range (excluding food – sorry, no meatballs) for immediate purchase and takeaway.  
   
• The new IKEA Kelowna Plan and order point will be the second such location in British Columbia and 12^th across Canada.
